Juggling the ball

The technic of keeping the football from hitting the ground by bouncing it off of one's foot, thigh,head, chest, back or shoulders. is called "Juggling".

The benefit of juggling a football is familiarity with the ball and improving your fundamental technic football such as first touch (first touch is vital in ensuring that the ball stays within your reach and where you need/want it.),ball control, concentration ,give you greater confidence when dribbling and make you more comfortable and compentent when receiving/trapping the ball.

How to juggling a football
You probably want to start on a flat sureface.That way you can do a lot of control on the football as the a lot of bounces on the ball....It'll make it a lot easier for you to learn as you do it. And when you juggle the ball you actually want to be relaxed ,your arms out ,bend your knees,and watch the ball as it comes down. Juggling is about timing. Timing the ball as it goes down ,and your foot making contact with the ball as your foot comes up. So you want to concentrate on those two together. When the ball comes down you want to point your toes up a little bit ,and you want to hit the ball with your shoelaces. Juggling the ball can also be done with your thighs. It can also be done with your head. But you want to concentrate to juggle the ball with your lower body ,which is your feet and your thighs. Timing of the ball is important. Get relaxed !!!. To start juggle the football is by letting the ball bounce on the ground once ,and then kick it with you foot up and catch it with your hand. And then you would do the same with the other leg. One bounce on the grond ,kick the ball up with you leg ,and catch it with your hand. Then you start progressing with juggling. Nextstep you do one bounce ,leg ,leg ,hands. If you feeling comfortable with that next you can do one bounce ,then you can do three controls ,one with two with your feet ,so left and right control ,and one with your thigh. And so as you get more comfortable with that,you increase the number of juggles that the you can do ,and here the emphasis is not on the quantity,but on the quality and control of the ball. Juggling is about controlling the ball. So you must practice it carefully. If you can control the ball while the ball is spinning in a funny way ,again the idea is for you to have good control of that football while you play the game of football. And juggling helps that player develop those skills of ball control.You need to keep practicing this technic often in whenever you can.Greatest footballer in the world such as Pele ,Maradona ,Ronaldinho ,Zinedine Zidane etc. are trained before this technique to become successful players . is used to practice the technic many time before they become to famous footballers.
